Cool Story on CNN.com today from author David Banks with only 1 degree of separation from a Tormach PCNC 1100! I was reading over lunch and saw that the headline story was about CritterCam. It reminded me that Frank Borke from Master Pattern in Lafayette, CO, has made a number of the parts for recent CritterCam projects on his Tormach PCNC 1100 (Click Here for an article about this in Machine Design). So often, you just assume that high tech things like this are made by big corporations with state-of-the-art tools, and not a one man, low-overhead machine shop.
