Software Updates: PCNC 770 and SprutCAM7 Postprocessors

We completed a minor update to the PCNC770 Control software last week. New Features are:
– Selectable Configuration for Normally Open / Normally Closed Probing. This will support most 3rd party and home-brew probing applications.
– Enabled 4th Axis Homing for use with the 4th axis homing Kit
– Added a new Wizard, “Boss Centerpoint Probing”, that we found online and liked. Thanks to Maurice on CNC Zone for the great wizard and for sharing it. Basically, it simplifies finding the center of circular boss with a few user inputs. Here’s a screen shot of the interface:

You can download the new software here. Make sure to read the installation instructions.

New SprutCAM posts
We have added a new “Master” post for SprutCAM. This post incorporates Tapping, multiple work offsets, Inverse Time federate mode (for true 4th axis operation), as well as incorporates Canned Cycles in 5D contouring, these were previously separate posts. The fix for “Zero Arc Radius” has also been added, and the post also allows for a scaling\or flipping of the A axis for 4th axis work. You can download the newest posts here and scroll down to the “Post Files” section.

ATC Beta Program Update:
Thanks to all for the overwhelming response – clearly a lot of excitement for the ATC. We have found homes for all the beta units. I’ll try to keep putting out updates as things get started.

It would be cool to see a quick video demo of all the new features being used. 🙂

Is the SprutCAM7 Postprocessor update for the PCNC 1100 as well?

Yes it does. It works for both PCNC mills.
