In a Busy Week, Tormach Talks at MIT, Saunders Teaches at Autodesk University

There were Tormach employees all over the country last week, from Autodesk University in Las Vegas to talking makerspaces at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Some spent last week in the glitz and glam of Las Vegas… but really, we only saw the inside of the Sands Convention Center where Tormach Brand Ambassador, John Saunders, spent the week teaching CAM and machining.

Fusion 360 Adds Tormach Tool Libraries

Autodesk is a company that creates all kinds of software for manufacturing, engineering, and enterprise uses. When the company took to creating Fusion 360, an approachable, integrated CAD/CAM package, we knew that Tormach needed to be involved. Fusion 360 provides the ability to easily move from CAD (computer aided design) to CAM (computer aided manufacturing), which really streamlines the process to creating parts.
