Year over year, Tormach has hosted an annual open house event where we've invited you (all our customers and potential customers) to come see our facilities and our machines in person.
A lot of time, debate, and money goes into making the decision to buy a machine tool. You have to compare different machines, different packages, debate tooling, and then you still have to make that final leap to a purchase. So when a new Tormach machine arrives at your shop or your garage, the excitement is hard to contain.
Tormach first launched PathPilot a little more than two years ago. We developed the control system in-house so we could adapt and improve the software quickly, and provide better customer support.
Last weekend, Tormach showed off a PCNC 440 just down the road at the Madison Maker Faire. With local maker celebrities, like Ben Heck and ArcAttack (Tesla Coil Music), as well as our two local makerspaces (Sector67 and The Bodgery), the event brought in over 4,000 eager makers.
John Saunders’ third annual open house went off as expected … busy, lots of excited machinists and metalworkers, and tons of interesting conversations.
