Next week brings about the new era of the Tormach Open House, Tormach Tech Days!
John Saunders’ third annual open house went off as expected … busy, lots of excited machinists and metalworkers, and tons of interesting conversations.
Last weekend, Tormach drew in over 300 people from all over the U.S. as we hosted our 3rd annual Open House at Tormach Headquarters in Waunakee, WI – and it was a busy! Tormach Brand Ambassadors, John Saunders and Wes Bye, both gave presentations and provided some insight into their machining knowledge. A group from Lakeview Tech showed off their fuel-efficient car, while a local FIRST Robotics team, BadgerBots, talked about their robot and the FIRST competitions. We had seminars, classes, and even a few demos, including the unveiling of the SmartCool accessory and the PCNC 440 ATC prototype. We've got a lot of exciting things happening at the #Tormach2016 Open House, happening tomorrow - there's still time to RSVP - but we're really excited to show off some of our latest accessories! We just installed the first PCNC 440 power drawbar and automatic tool changer, and they'll be up and running during the open house. Also just announced, we'll have the SmartCool running on several machines. The SmartCool talks with PathPilot, and allows you to point coolant precisely where it needs to be, to clear chips out efficiently.
