The new Tormach ZA6 robot can be used for a number of different applications, so when it entered the beta phase, we weren’t exactly sure what our testers were going to do with it.

At Tormach, our mission is to not only empower people to make things, but to also embolden them to make a difference.   It is invigorating to see how our customers cultivate creativity, foster ingenuity and encourage the development of their own industry and businesses, as well as the lives of future innovators.  Recently, a Tormach machine owner led me to a pristine winter landscape of stretching farmlands and an exceptionally resourceful robotics team in central Minnesota. 

April is an exciting time for robotics around the office at Tormach. We're helping the kids competing at FIRST Robotics in Milwaukee and LaCrosse, Wisconsin, as well as the championship event in Detroit.

His credentials include MythBusters, BattleBots, and working as a Disney Imagineer -- it goes without saying that Grant Imahara knows what he's doing when it comes to making stuff.
